Frans has led Only as entrepreneur and CEO for more than 10 years. Earlier he built and sold Advance, a cross-media company that grew into a widely acclaimed player in its field. With over two decades of entrepreneurial experience, he knows that growth is never a straight line — it takes resilience, curiosity and the courage to trust your intuition.

At Only, he is focused on growing the network into Europe’s leading strategic communication platform, a challenge that — much like his years as a volleyball player — demands timing, teamwork and drive. Coming from ‘a grande famille’ with many brothers and sisters, he learned early on how to listen and balance perspectives. His belief in the power of connection between people, business and society continues to shape the way Only grows.

Jannus has been CFO at Only since 2023, following senior finance roles at Elegant and Budget Thuis, and earlier years at Deloitte. He also teaches at Nyenrode Business University, sharing his expertise in finance and governance with the next generation of professionals. With his experience in finance and in private equity-backed environments, he understands the dynamics of fast-growing companies and M&A environments.

Growing up on a farm instilled discipline and responsibility from an early age, and with four sisters he quickly learned the value of collaboration, balance, and humor. That sense of humor shows in his work: while he has a sharp eye for detail, he makes sure numbers never stand-alone but stay connected to people.
